RIMCO IS MOVING TO A NEW BUILDING
After being in Santa Ana for over 40 years we have decided to move to a newer building.
It has not been an easy decision. When Rimco was purchased in October of 2008 the building was purchased months prior by a property management company. As our lease has come up, the cost of upgrading a 50 year old building is far too much money. The Management Company that owns the building is looking to raise the rent to make up for the upgrades that will be needed.
We have found a building that is just 20 minutes down the 5 freeway in Santa Fe Springs. This building will accommodate us for many years because it is owned by us. It will have a large customer parts counter for our walk-in customers. It will also provide us with a larger warehouse area to receive and ship out via package couriers.
Within the building it will also house our Steel Fabrication Company Hildebrandt Machine. The new building is over 15,000 square feet. This will provide plenty of area for our other capabilities like Plasma Cutting, Flame Cutting, Blanchard Grinding, Heavy Equipment Repair as well as our Telecommunications division.
We sincerely hope this is not too much of an inconvenience for anyone. We hope you understand that in business there are times that companies have to relocate. All of our employees will be making the move with us.
We are also looking at having a “Moving Special” so please keep a look-out on our next news letter.
As of 2/20/11 we have moved all of our automotive repair machines and are currently working on current orders. If you have or have a job that is in transit everything will be fine.

WELCOME TO RIMCO'S WEBSITE
Welcome everyone! We are very excited about our new website and the amount of information that we are providing our customers. Along with our service, vw machining and parts, we would like this site to become a place for you to get information, check status. We are looking for Car Clubs to represent. We have made a special section for customers to send in their picture, videos and stories. Please send them. Now with the new site we can get them up right away.
Along with that we added a page for Race Results. This will allow you to go to one place and get info on all the races. Also, if you do not see a race series that you would like us to display send us a message and we will chase that info for you.
Volkswagen History is another page that we added to this. We are looking to show as much of the history of Volkswagen with information and pictures. Again, if you have something you want to add that you do not see, send it on to us.

2010 BUG-IN
Rimco, Rancho Performance and Cold Forge Racing showed up in full force at the 2010 Bug-In on May 2nd in Fontana California. Cold Forge Racing, which is sponsored by Rimco and Rancho Performance, had their booth between them. Cold Forge had posters to get signed as well as their Class 11 car out there to view. Rancho Performance had the LAT Oil as well as Harold and the boys out there answering any questions you had. Take a look here at the event.
